Agro-Tourism Tour and Culture

Landing in Mother Teresa Airport where our guide will be waiting for you.

After check-in at the hotel and heaving a welcome drink, we will explore the capital in a city tour passing through the Boulevard, Blloku and New Pazar.

Dinner at Odda. Is small restaurant famous for its local recipes and traditional food.

Overnight in Tirana.

Drive to Shkodra on our way we will have a stop at Uka farm. Located in Laknas, a village near Tirana, Uka Farm is very well known for the delicious local food and Wine tasting. Here we will have a tour to learn more for the owner’s passion to produce some of the finest wine in Albania and the farm history. Further we will continue to visit Mrizi i Zanave. Set in the village of Fishte, region of Zadrima, Mrizi I Zanave is one of the most unique and successful Agro Tourism in Albania. We will have a tour inside the farm before tasting the unique delicious plate.                                                                                      Arriving to Shkodra, check in and refreshing to prepare for the city tour. Shkoder is the center of Albania’s Gheg cultural region and one of the oldest cities in Europe blessed with traditions, culture and religious harmony. We will visit the spectacular Rozafa Castle, The Marubi National Photomuseum and the Venice Art Mask Factory.

Dinner at Tradita Geg & Tosk Reaturant with local food.

In the early morning we will drive to Koman to have a spectacular boat ride. Arriving to Fierza we continue to Valbona Valey. We will have a traditional lunch with local food and check in the hotel.

In the afternoon we will have a short hike to explore the Valey and stretch our feet. (Hike: Rrethi I bardhe)

After an abundance breakfast we drive to Gjakova. We will visit the Old Bazaar, which is the oldest bazaar in the whole Kosovo and has too many cafes and you will only feel tempted to drink coffee in each of them. Lunch in one of the best restaurant in Gjakova with traditional food.

In 1hour (40km) we will be in Prizren, a city with narrow cobblestone streets and Ottoman houses. A short hike will bring us to the castle to admire the best view of the old town of Prizren with its red roofs, mosques, churches, Ottoman buildings and bridges.

We will have a city tour, dinner with delicious specialties and overnight in Prizren.

Today we drive to Albanian border. Passing Rruga e Kombit, we will arrive in Durres for2.5h (200 km)

After stretching our feet with a short walk in the promenade near the sea we will have a delicious lunch. The town has a long and impressive history, we will visit Roman Amphitheatre and superb Archaeological Museum.

Check-in the hotel near the sea and have a relaxing free evening near the Adriatic bay.

Today we will explore the old town of Beart which is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

 In 1.5 hour (100km) we will find yourself in the tiny streets with kalldrem, being fascinating from the house architectures in Mangalemi and Gorica neighborhoods until you reach the Old castle. Here you'll discover that there's another mini old town inside and National Iconographic Museum. We will have lunch in a traditional restaurant and continue to explore the new town developed recently. A short drive will bring us to “Cobo” winery for a wine tasting and a tour inside. This family has a long tradition of producing wine, dating back to the early time of communist regime. The old town gets extremely beautiful after dark with the illuminated houses and the Gorica stone bridge over the river Osum which flows through the amazing Osum Canyon.

Dinner and overnight in Berat.

Drive early to Zvernec to visit the Monastery of Zvernec, passing near Lagoon of Narta. This Monastery is the most important cultural monument and one of the oldest orthodox monastery in Ballkan. It is constructed in the 13th century near Zvernec, at Narta Lagoon, north region of Vlora. A typical byzantine style. Here we will have a meeting with a ranger of this area for a birdwatching and get more information about the biodiversity of this area. Lunch in the village of Narta with vegetables from villagers garden and fresh fish from the lagoon.

We continue to Permet , the city of the roses. At the entry of the town we will make a stop to Baxho Meshini. Meshini Family is very famous in Albania for producing different cheese with high quality. We will have a tour inside and a little chat with the owner and cheese tasting with some good raki from the house.

Continue to have Lunch in Permet and check in the hotel for a short refreshment.

We will gather together for a city tour and have a swim at Benja Thermal Bath.

Dinner in Permet with traditional music, klarinet and tasty food of the region.

Today we will drive to Gjirokastra the city of Stone.

This city, without doubt is one of the most attractive places in Albania. Gjirokastra has a particular feature that distinguishes her from other cities. It's all made of stone and even houses look like small fortresses. Also, the biggest castle in Albania is that of Gjirokastra.

We will visit the old Bazar, the Castle, Skenduli House, The museum, the famous writer Ismail Kadare house and the dictator house of Enver Hoxha.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

Further we will have the experience of stone coffee that is one of the most beautiful that you can enjoy in Gjirokastra. We sit in the stone alleys, bake it carefully and then press it on the stone. Here you can buy some beautiful handmade gifts helping the local people and make a unique present for your beloved.

Today we will drive to Saranda. Passing Muzina we will arrive at Blue eye to see this spectacular nature creation. For the bravest, a jump in the cold crystal water will be an experience to be told.

A short drive will bring us to Archeological site of Butrint. One of the most important in Albania because not only it constitutes a very rare combination of archaeology and nature but also the quality of the restoration and conservation work carried out since 1924 has been high.

Lunch near Butrint with local specialties.

We can have a stop at Ksamil for a coffee and if you want you can enjoy Ksamil beach before check-in at the hotel in Saranda.

We will have a walk in the boulevard of Saranda near the sea before dinner at Lekursi castle with an amazing city view at night.

Overnight in Saranda

The south breeze will accompany you while driving today. Albania south is breathtaking with crystal water and beautiful landscapes.

As short drive will bring us to Porto Palemo to visit the castle known as the Castle of Ali Pasha love because he build it for his beloved wife Vasiliqia. Here we will visit also the underground submarine base built at Communism time  before having lunch at a restaurant near with local food.

Check-in at the hotel in Himara.

We will Visit Himara castle and have free time in Himara near the beach.

At dinner we will have a delicious suflaqi. Himara is very famous for this traditional Greek food.

Overnight in Himara.

The morning coffee will be taken to Vuno this morning. A very nice village reconstructed recently. We will have a short stop in Dhermi to explore the old village of Dhermi and visit the old church.

Lunch in the National Park of Lllogara and after we will have a short hike (Cezari Pass).

We proceed to Vlora which is becoming the second important city in Albania.

After chech- in the Hotel we will have a city tour and visit Muradije Mosque and neighborhood.

Dinner at a restaurant near Lungo Mare promenade with a lovely sunset view.
